Biography

Eden Walker (b. 1995) is a British pianist based in Hamburg, Germany.

His artistic world is shaped by a fascination with the piano’s outer edges of repertoire — where virtuosity meets thought, and sound becomes architecture. He is particularly drawn to the underexplored works of composers such as Max Reger, Ferruccio Busoni, Charles-Valentin Alkan, and Leopold Godowsky, whose music demands both technical clarity and intellectual imagination.

He studied with Dr. Robert Markham at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and with Prof. Jens Elvekjær at the Royal Danish Academy of Music, experiences that continue to inform his artistic voice.

Alongside his concert work, Eden Walker teaches at the Staatliche Jugendmusikschule Hamburg, where he shares his curiosity for depth, detail, and discovery with young pianists.

His debut album devoted to the piano music of Max Reger reflects a long-standing commitment to illuminating overlooked repertoire — not as an act of revival alone, but as an ongoing conversation between performer, score, and listener.
